What can you drive with a Class C license?
A Class C license lets you:
- Drive a regular, non-school bus with seating for more than 24 passengers.
- Drive vehicles covered by D, F, and G class licenses.Â
What Can You NOT Drive with a Class C license?
 The Class C license does NOT permit you to:
â–ª Pull a trailer equipped with air brakes. (See Class A Training)
â–ª Drive a full-size tractor-trailer combination. (See Class A Training)
â–ª Drive a vehicle pulling a double-trailer. (See Class A Training)
â–ª Train another driver on a vehicle that requires full class A privileges to drive.
â–ª A school bus with seating for more than 24 passengers (see Class B).
What are the requirements to obtain the Class C license in Ontario?
To be eligible for the Class C license, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Hold a valid Ontario license (other than a G1, G2, M, M1, or M2)
- Pass a vision test.
- Submit a valid medical reportÂ
- Pass a knowledge test about buses and trucks.
- Pass a road test using a vehicle that meets the requirements for a Class C license.

If you are 18 to 64 years old :
- Drivetest commercial license package (paid to Drivetest; includes 1 knowledge test attempt and 1 road test attempt): $122.75
- each additional knowledge test attempt (paid to Drivetest): $23.75
- each additional road test attempt (paid to Drivetest): $99.00
If you are 65 to 79 years old :
- Drivetest commercial license package (paid to Drivetest; includes 1 knowledge test attempt and 1 road test attempt): $37.75
- each additional knowledge test attempt (paid to Drivetest): $23.75
- each additional road test attempt (paid to Drivetest): $14.00
